Join the Debate: Future of Prison Design
Thursday, July 08, 2010
What do you think the prison of the future will look like? To share your opinion and join the debate, visit Performa, Inc. in booth 200 at the ACA's 140th Congress of Correction held in Chicago, Ill., July 30 to Aug. 4.
Performa's President of the Justice Group, David Robillard, will share design strategies that will optimize operational efficiency, staffing, security and safety.
Attendees will have a chance to add to the conversation by taking a survey, asking them what they believe will be the key design features of future prisons. Attendees who fill out the survey will be entered for a chance to win a two-ticket Bronze Package from Packer Fan Tours for the Chicago Bears game January 2, 2011. Survey results will be posted on this blog after the event.
Also at the Performa booth, attendees will see a video demonstration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and live demonstrations of site optimization techniques using three-dimension models.
The American Correctional Association's 140th Congress of Correction is an excellent opportunity for professional and personal enrichment. This conference offers invaluable training workshops, an expansive exhibit hall, and the opportunity to network with your colleagues. This event is a who's who of corrections and your opportunity to learn from the best.
